Made in Canada,
drawn by hand.
City Postcards is original Canadian city art — postcards, prints, and gifts of the places people love, drawn by hand and printed on fine paper. Not a souvenir for a drawer. Art made to be sent, framed, and kept.

The idea
A city is the details.
A place isn't a generic skyline — it's the bridge you always cross, the streetcar that rattles past, the maple that turns first in the fall. We started City Postcards to draw those details by hand, so the people who know a place recognise it instantly, and the people who miss it can bring it home.

The artist
Every edition is original.
Ottawa artist Donald Lanouette draws each city by hand — nothing stock, nothing traced. The character comes from choosing which details to keep. It's the reason a City Postcards edition feels like the place, not a photograph of it.

How they're made
Fine paper, properly printed.
Every edition is printed in Canada on heavyweight, softly textured fine art paper that holds the colour and feels like something in the hand. Made to be mailed, gifted, or framed — and to last long after the trip is over.
